FOOTBALL legend Sir Bobby Charlton launched Trafford
TV at Old Trafford in front of over 700 guests. Trafford TV is a joint project for the Local Strategic Partnership and the Crime and Disorder Reduction Partnership. An initial 15
screens have been installed throughout the area.

Hastings Joins Forces to Combat Crime

SAFER Hastings Partnership has forged a strong working relationship with its local radio station, thanks to its community TV network SHP-TV. An emergency message about a serious sexual assault was broadcast on SHP-TV, with a CD-fit of the suspect appearing on the 11 screens.

HOME SECRETARY Charles Clarke visited Hastings recently, and saw Safer Hastings Partnership TV in action. In his first official visit as Home Secretary, Mr. Clarke said he has seen one of CCN's plasma screens at Hastings train station and was 'tremendously impressed' with the project.

TV debut for wanted criminals

Video footage of wanted criminals is shown on television screens in public places in an area of County Durham. The faces of wanted criminals are to be beamed onto TV screens in shopping areas, leisure centres and factories in parts of County Durham.
